What prompted us to expand? Our customers did. In our nearly four years in business, our customers have told us that our premium quality and service surpassed that of our competition. Many traveled a distance to visit GourMade, despite having other meal assembly businesses closer to them. Our goal is to bring GourMade quality and our personal chefs’ attention to detail to the greater San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. - Our Food – At GourMade, good food is a top priority. We spend countless hours sourcing the most reputable food purveyors so we can bring our customers premium quality, hard-to-find and all natural ingredients superior to our competition. Our meats and chicken are always fresh, not frozen. We proudly serve Angus beef, all natural pork, free-range chicken and sustainable seafood and make our sauces and stocks from scratch. Bottom line, great ingredients result in great-tasting entrees.

- Personal Chefs – Because it really is all about the food, we require our franchisees to be trained by the United States Personal Chefs Association. This way, there is always at least one personal chef on-site to meet the needs of our customers.

- Our Flexibility – We’re not a big, national franchise, so we are nimble and we’re able to be flexible with our franchisees and our food. GourMade’s the only business of this kind that regularly makes meat substitutions for its customers and offers personal chef service to people with specific dietary needs (i.e., gluten free, low sodium, meatless, etc.). We also have a registered dietician on our team who can advise on particularly challenging cases.
